So many ideas pop into my head about things to share about but then other things take prescedent.<br /><br />Here are a few topics that have crossed my mind to write about...as I was running yesterday, I thought about procrastination...as one of my kids were going to the movies this weekend, I thought about all of the garbage that parents allow their kids to see at just a "PG-13" movie. (If you have kids, you should really check out a service at <a href="http://www.screenit.com/">http://www.screenit.com/</a>); as I got up at 5am, I was wondering how early do most folks get up on workdays? As I answered my Facebook inquiries, I wondered what others do when they get a friend request from someone they have no idea who they are. Do you ignore them? Accept anyway? Ask them?<br /><br />Today is a local election day in my community. We will be voting for the mayor and alderman positions. In addition to several other important "to-<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">do's</span>" on my list and spending some time with my kids, I will be able to "check-off" "<em><strong>start blog</strong></em>" from my list today. It feels good to check goals off your list. <br /><br />It will be interesting to see just what ends up here. I'm not much on the social networking scene...I, often <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">unfortunately</span>, tend to migrate more towards wanting to discuss the heavier issues of life, business, social problems, government, etc. and don't always find folks up for that. (Have you met my husband?) <br /><br />I look forward to sharing and hearing from others with this. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm usually up for a good old-fashion "discussion".
